Focused Conversation Method (ORID Analysis)

(A)What is ORID Analysis?

The ORID method, developed by the Canadian Institute of Cultural Affairs, is a discussion method that promotes deep thinking, meaningful learning, and enhanced team communication through effective questioning. ORID emphasizes the "process," which may not necessarily lead to final decisions but can reveal rich perspectives during discussions, aiding in consensus building. In our online discussion process, as we members are from different classes, ORID has become a useful tool for our discussions.
