Images of Leopard cat
At first we set up cameras near the school, but after several months we could only photograph cats, dogs or mice, and never the leopard cat. So we set up cameras in farmland and pineapple fields near Maoluo River. After many shots and corrections, we finally captured precious pictures of leopard cats. In addition to leopard cats, we also saw other animals such as sambar deer and stray dogs. Sambar deer are deer that escaped from nearby deer farms. They live in the wild and breed to a certain number. They often run into farmers' vegetable gardens for food, causing losses to farmers. They also often run onto the road and cause car accidents. Stray dogs are a great threat to the survival of leopard cats. Groups of stray dogs not only make leopard cats afraid to go to places where they hunt, but also hunt leopard cats. From the film, we can see the dogs looking for the leopard cats. It was very thrilling to catch up with the smell.
